Welcome Pack for Asylum Seekers, Glasgow City Council
Asylum seekers arriving in Glasgow need straightforward information about what to expect. I conducted focus groups with asylum seekers to find out what information would have been useful to them when they arrived; consulted key agencies to find out what they thought important; researched examples of other welcome packs and wrote a report with recommendations for the council. I then re-wrote Glasgow’s welcome pack on the basis of the findings.
